design work

JFI is a bench designed to be used in waiting or reception areas, which meets the different needs of indoor spaces with a lot of human traffic, such as museums, galleries, cafés or shops. JFI is made up of a modular, tubular system that can be used in different ways, depending on the user’s needs. The frame works as a rail that the wooden sections can be slid along. The sections are joined together by magnets inset into the ends, and can form surfaces that are rigid or upholstered, horizontal or vertical.
